• 09:10-11:30 Yuanjiajie Scenic Area (Includes Hallelujah Mountain)

  • Must-visit Attractions:

    • Back Garden: A small basin surrounded by quartz sandstone peak forests, which looks like a fairyland with mist after rain;

    • Enchanting Terrace (Mihun Terrace): A suspended viewing platform overlooking over 300 stone peaks (one of the prototypes for the “Floating Mountains” in the movie “Avatar”);

    • First Bridge under Heaven: A natural stone arch bridge with a span of 20 meters and a height of 357 meters. The bridge deck only allows 2 people to walk side-by-side (a geological wonder formed 300 million years ago).

  • Hiking Route: Back Garden → Enchanting Terrace → First Bridge under Heaven (Approx. 2 hours total, the stone path is flat and suitable for everyone).

• 11:30-12:30 Lunch

    1. Marshalling Platform (13:00-13:40): Overlook the “West Sea Peak Forest” (thousands of stone peaks like surging waves; best photo spot: left side of the viewing platform);

    2. Imperial Writing Brush Peaks (13:40-14:20): A row of 6 sharp peaks like inverted writing brushes, legendary used by King Xiang (best lighting at sunrise/sunset);

• 09:30-10:00 Tianmen Mountain Cableway Experience

  • Scenic Highlight: The cableway is 7455 meters long with a height drop of 1279 meters. The 28-minute one-way ride offers a bird’s-eye view of “Avenue toward Heaven,” primitive forests, and the “Tianmen Water Inversion” waterfall (visible in rainy season).

  • Tips: Cableway is divided into Line A/B (Line A: City → Mountain, Line B: Mountain → City). Today we take Line A; it is recommended to collect tickets 1 hour in advance during peak season.

• 10:00-12:00 Tianmen Mountain Summit Tour

  • Must-play Projects:

    1. Glass Skywalk (10:00-10:40): Located on the West Line, 60 meters long and 1.6 meters wide, made of fully transparent tempered glass (Shoe covers 5 yuan/person, at your own expense). A 1000-meter abyss lies beneath your feet (the brave can take “floating photos”);

    2. Guigu Walkway (10:40-11:20): 1600 meters long, built against the cliff, with some sections carved into the mountain (stone carvings of the “Yefu Treasure” legend can be seen along the way);

    3. Yunmeng Fairy Summit (11:20-11:40): The highest point of Tianmen Mountain (altitude 1518.6 meters). The viewing platform offers a panoramic view of Zhangjiajie city.

  • Cultural Attraction: Tianmen Temple (11:40-12:00): Originally built in the Tang Dynasty, the current buildings were reconstructed in 2009. The temple enshrines Sakyamuni Buddha (Free admission, you can offer incense for blessings).

  • Descent Method: Take the cableway back to the city (Line B, 28 minutes).

  The guide will arrange a transfer to the airport (Hehua Airport) or the station (Zhangjiajie West Station/High-speed Railway Station) according to your schedule, ending the trip.
