Description

Day 1: Arrival in Beijing · Welcome & Relaxation

【Today’s Itinerary】

  • Morning to Afternoon: Exclusive Welcome
Upon your arrival in Beijing (Capital International Airport, Daxing International Airport, or major railway stations), our guide will be waiting at the exit with your name sign. We arrange a private car to transfer you to a selected hotel in central Beijing. After check-in, you can refresh and unwind from your journey.

  •

  • 15:00 – 18:00: Free Exploration Time
We suggest walking to the old streets and alleys surrounding the hotel to observe local elders playing chess or visit a nearby community supermarket to experience local prices.

  •

  • 18:30 – 20:00: Dinner Suggestions
You may choose to head to [Wangfujing Street] to experience the bustling commercial center or [Qianmen Street] to find time-honored traditional brands.

【Dining & Accommodation】

  • Meals: Meals on your own for the whole day.

  •

  • Accommodation: Boutique hotel in central Beijing (Included).

  •

  • Food Recommendation: Old Beijing Zhajiangmian (Fangzhuanchang No. 69). This is a popular spot for locals with frequent queues, costing about ¥30-50 per person. The signature noodles feature the traditional “Seven Dishes and Eight Bowls” of toppings, with chewy noodles and rich bean sauce.

  •

  • Local Life Tip: Download the “Beijing Yikatong” App or collect the “Beijing Public Transport/Subway Card” in Alipay; this is the smoothest way to travel in Beijing.

Day 2: Imperial Central Axis · Royal Footsteps & Hutong Life

【Detailed Itinerary】(Times for reference only)

  • 08:30 – 10:00: Solemn Moments at [Tiananmen Square]
As the world’s largest city center square, this is the starting point of Beijing’s central axis. You can observe the Monument to the People’s Heroes up close and feel the fusion of Soviet-style architecture and traditional Chinese elements. Cultural Context: It is recommended to wake up early for the flag-raising ceremony (requires advance booking), a highly ritualistic event for locals.

  •

  • 10:00 – 12:30: In-depth Walk through [The Palace Museum] (Forbidden City)
We arrange a professional guide to take you through Tiananmen. Built in the 4th year of Emperor Yongle (1406), the Forbidden City is the world’s largest surviving wooden structural ancient building complex. Details: You will focus on the “Golden Throne” in the Hall of Supreme Harmony, observe its exquisite mortise and tenon structure and gold-leaf techniques, and explore the Imperial Garden to find ancient cypress trees where Qing emperors once strolled.

  •

  • 12:30 – 13:30: Lunch Time
We arrange an authentic Old Beijing style lunch to recharge your energy.

  •

  • 14:00 – 15:30: Panoramic Views at [Jingshan Park]
A 15-minute walk brings you here. Jingshan was an imperial garden for the Ming and Qing dynasties, its hill constructed from soil excavated during the building of the Forbidden City’s moat. Practical Tip: It only takes 10 minutes to climb to “Wanchun Pavilion,” the only spot in the city for a 360-degree panoramic view of the Forbidden City.

  •

  • 16:00 – 18:00: Old City Time in [Hutongs & Yandai Xiejie]
Stroll through Yandai Xiejie, which has over 800 years of history, and browse the unique shops lining the street. Local Activities: Head to Shichahai to see locals winter swimming (seasonal) or playing on the ice. You may choose to take a traditional rickshaw at your own expense (Ref: ¥100-150/vehicle) and listen to the driver explain the different social ranks represented by “stone lions” and “scrolls” on Hutong doorsteps.

【Dining & Accommodation】

  • Meals: Includes hotel breakfast and Chinese lunch; dinner on your own.

  •

  • Dinner Recommendation: Siji Minfu Roast Duck. It is suggested to get a queue number before 17:00. Average cost is about ¥200 per person. Besides the roast duck, the Prince’s Barbecue Lamb and Old Beijing Snack Platter are highly recommended.

  •

  • Accommodation: Boutique hotel in central Beijing (Included).

Day 3: Great Wall Majesty · Photographer’s Paradise & Night Tour

【Detailed Itinerary】(Times for reference only)

  • 08:00 – 10:30: Driving North
Travel by car to Jinshanling, renowned as “the most spectacular section of the Great Wall.”

  •

  • 10:30 – 14:00: Hiking & Photography at [Jinshanling Great Wall]
Jinshanling is famous for its well-preserved original appearance and high density of watchtowers. Scenic Highlights: Starting from Zhuanduokou and passing through General Tower, this is the best spot to photograph the winding beauty of the Wall. The “Inscribed Bricks” on the Wall record construction information from centuries ago, serving as a living history book.

  •

  • 14:00 – 15:00: Lunch Time
We arrange an authentic farmhouse meal at the foot of the Wall (try the fresh ground tofu and wild vegetable pancakes).

  •

  • 16:00 – 20:00: Night Tour Experience at [Simatai Great Wall]
Afterward, head to Gubei Water Town. We arrange a tour of Simatai, the only section of the Wall in China that preserves its original Ming dynasty appearance and offers night tours. How to Experience: It is recommended to take the cable car directly to the middle of the Wall. As night falls, the town lights below sparkle like stars, while the Wall resembles a golden dragon resting on the ridge.

  •

  • After 20:00: Strolling Through the Town
Return to the water town to enjoy the musical fountains or water dance shows.

【Dining & Accommodation】

  • Meals: Includes hotel breakfast and specialty farmhouse lunch; dinner on your own.

  •

  • Dinner Recommendation: Simatai Snack Street within Gubei Water Town. You can taste hot radish strips pastry and Gubei roasted pears, costing about ¥60 per person.

  •

  • Accommodation: Themed boutique hotel or guesthouse within Gubei Water Town (Included).

The town is most peaceful in the early morning. The entire town features architectural styles from the Ming, Qing, and Republican eras. Top Spot: Yongshun Dye House, where vibrant fabrics hang from giant drying racks, making it a perfect spot for folk photography.

  •

  • Optional Activities (Self-pay Reference):

    1. Tang River Boat Cruise: Ride a traditional sculling boat through the town’s waterways, lasting about 20 minutes (Ref: ¥80/person).
